Hey Fellow Pilots. This afternoons 1st Annual BBQ as SMAS was a fantastic success. There were quite a few fliers, a multitude of different planes, and the weather was perfect. Kuddos to Brian and Chris for pulling this off, and a few more extra ones for Chris who put in the afternoon cooking our great meal. We can only hope that any future BBQs, and lets hope there are many, will go off as well as this one did.

Well that was a heck of a lot of fun! Unfortunately there were some incidents with the corn. I've had my share. It was a nice to see everyone. Thank you Chris for BBQing the best burgers. Kevin & Denise Baker (aka Scooterboy)

Great day today. Good turn out. Here are a couple of pictures that were taken from a video that Kevin McKay took (Thanks Kevin M). Unfortunately the video is too long to post on the forum. There is also some great pictures/video on our Facebook page (thanks Brian): www.facebook.com/ShubMAS

It was a great day. Thanks to everyone for the company, the smiles, and the memories to be held for such fun. Biggest turn out of the year. Lots and lots of flying.
Special thanks to Chris for BBQing (and for picking up so many of the supplies) and for Geoff for continuing to maintain the field with such care. Thanks Kevin for the DJI footage too and for helping in times of need.
If anyone has any pics to share... then this forum is great or email them to us at smas2024@outlook.com and (if you want) we should be able to supplement information on Facebook too. I assembled those that I had into a video montage as Chris has linked above.
